ABOUT THE SUMMIT
Building on the success of previous events over the past seven years, Hotel ICON is thrilled to be organising the Hong Kong SMART Hotel Summit, an event supported by both the Hong Kong Hotels Association and the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP). Held in conjunction with the Summit in the adjacent venue will be the IndustryConnect Service, where more than 20 Science Park companies from the hospitality industry will be showcasing their innovations and technologies at their respective booths. The targeted approach is designed to facilitate technological and industrial collaborations among partner companies, incubates and relevant industries.
With the increasing application of SMART items in various industries, the international travelers’ expectation on a SMART-er lodging experience is also unprecedentedly growing. Certain popular destinations and international hotel chains are aggressively promoting their SMART image. Hong Kong’s hotel industry however is still lagging behind other destinations in terms of offering a SMART-er hotel experience.
The SMART Hotel Summit will unite hoteliers in Hong Kong to strategise, network and drive the Smart Hotel Movement forward. A packed agenda of presentations, panel debates and roundtable discussions from experts and with peers ensure participants will leave with plenty of fresh ideas on everything from guest experience to staff productivity enhancement.
